With Beta 2 I have glass enabled in my windows except for my taskbar. It is solid black.
Also If I got to the properties of the taskbar, the "Show Thumbnails" is disabled, yet I still see thumbnails when I hover the taskbar items.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a bug, I can confirm the Taskbar black issue, which is a known issue. On and off it will reveal transparency, I suspect it might be an effect, when windows are open, its hard black, when no windows are on the taskbar, its translucent. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Sounds similar to the white "whisps" that float around on the copy dialog box. Every few seconds they'd change to black and then back. Kinda looked like black lightning.
